Multiple Break-Ins Spark Fear in Hartcliffe
Chaos hit south Bristol this morning as a man was caught snooping inside homes in Hartcliffe before dawn. Police got the first calls between 6:20am and 6:40am after residents disturbed the intruder twice. Disturbingly, reports of an attempted sexual assault surfaced before he ran off each time.
Third Sighting on Mowcroft Road Leads to Arrest
At 9:15am, a member of the public spotted a suspicious man on nearby Mowcroft Road. The description matched the earlier intruder, but he fled again when confronted. The NPAS police helicopter joined officers searching for the suspect across the area.
Suspect Nabbed at Bristol City Centre Bus Stop
Detective Chief Inspector James Francomb confirmed: “A man was arrested this morning at a bus stop in Bristol city centre in connection with these incidents.
