Edinburgh Tragedy: Joseph Wakeley Dies After Horror Crash Near Sheriffhall Roundabout
Joseph Wakeley, 1, was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after a crash on Millerhill Road at around 9am on Thursday, August 4. Despite treatment, he sadly died in hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, August 6.

Joseph’s family described him as “a loving son, father, and brother” and have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Driver Walks Away Unharmed
The driver of the car involved in the accident was unharmed. Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit confirmed the driver was not injured.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Paul Ewing said: “Our thoughts are with Joseph’s family and friends at this difficult time. Our investigations into the crash are ongoing.”
