Young Woman Stabbed to Death in South Ealing Alleyway
Brutal Attack Rocks Quiet Community
Police rushed to an alley off Church Gardens, South Ealing, just after midnight on Tuesday, 17 May, following reports of a stabbing. Officers, along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, found a 21-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. Despite desperate efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect in Custody as Investigation Unfolds
Police believe they know the victim’s identity and are notifying her family. A post-mortem will be scheduled soon. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at a west London police station.

“This is a truly shocking incident which will understandably cause significant concern among the local community and Londoners as a whole,” said West Area BCU Commander Sean Wilson. “Violence of any kind, but particularly against women, has a profound impact on communities and will affect confidence in the area.” “A specialist team of homicide detectives is investigating and we will use all our skills to bring whoever is responsible to justice. Local officers will be visible in South Ealing to offer reassurance—please come forward if you have any concerns or information.”
