Woman Stabbed to Death in South London Home Horror
Police raced to a Lordship Lane address in SE22 at around 10.10pm on Friday, 23 July after reports of a stabbing.
Tragic Death After Late-Night Attack
Officers and paramedics found a 36-year-old woman with stab wounds. She was rushed to hospital but sadly died at 2am. Authorities are now trying to locate and inform her next of kin.
Suspect Held in Custody
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at a south London police station. Detectives believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
Police Hunt Witnesses in Growing Murder Probe
The Met’s Specialist Crime unit is leading the investigation. Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in or around Lordship Lane when the attack happened.
