Man Airlifted to Hospital After Fall in Broadstairs
A dramatic rescue unfolded on Monday night in the seaside town of Broadstairs. Just after 9 p.m., emergency services rushed to Harbour Street following reports of a man falling from steps near Viking Bay.
Air Ambulance Touches Down at Victoria Gardens
Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance responded swiftly. The air ambulance landed at Victoria Gardens near the Broadstairs bandstand, a scene captured in striking photos. The man was then airlifted around 11 p.m. to a London hospital for urgent treatment.
Kent Police Confirm Serious Injuries
Kent Police were called at around 9.10 p.m. on Monday 27 June 2022 to report a man had fallen from some steps near Harbour Street, Broadstairs,” the police statement said.
The victim is receiving treatment for serious injuries after being flown to hospital. Police and medical crews remain on alert as investigations continue.
