Cyclist Hurt in Hit-and-Run Collision with Motorcycle in Hastings

Police are hunting witnesses after a 65-year-old cyclist was injured in a crash with a motorcycle in Hastings.

Crash Details

The incident happened on Old London Road between 11.30pm and 11.50pm on August 14. The rider was heading northbound when a motorcycle carrying two or three people collided with him. The impact caused the cyclist to fall and sustain injuries.

Motorcyclist Flees Scene

After the collision, the motorcyclist fled, leaving the injured man behind. The crash occurred just north of the junction with Alfred Road and School Road.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to get in touch. The investigation is ongoing.
