Armed officers from the Met Police were scrambled to Broadway, Bexleyheath, South London, after a serious stabbing in the early hours of Sunday at around 1.30am.

The attack took place inside the Arcadia Loungebar, where a club night was in full swing. A man was stabbed in the venue’s VIP section, prompting police to evacuate the entire venue and declare the scene a crime zone.

Sources reveal there was blood all over the floor and the victim, described as a white male, looked severely injured. Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage from the club to piece together what happened before the assault.
