Flames Rip Through East Greenwich Home: Firefighters Battle Blaze Into Early Hours
A devastating fire tore through a house on Earlswood Street, East Greenwich, late on November 13. The London Fire Brigade got its first emergency call at 10:48 p.m., followed by three more alarms about the same blaze.
Massive Fire Response: 25 Firefighters and Four Engines Join Fight
Fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich, and Deptford rushed to the scene, deploying four engines and 25 firefighters. Using a towering 32-metre turntable ladder, the team tackled the flames head-on from above.
Significant Damage But No Injuries
The fire gutted the entire first floor and damaged part of the roof. Firefighters battled through the night before declaring the fire fully out at 12:35 a.m. on November 14. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
