Police Hunt Mugging Thugs on Telford to Wolverhampton Train

Violent Attack Sparks Urgent Police Appeal

British Transport Police are hunting two men linked to a brutal assault on a train travelling from Telford to Wolverhampton. The attack happened between 6:35 PM and 6:45 PM on Monday, 27 January 2025, just as the train arrived at Wolverhampton station.

A man was viciously punched three times in the face before being struck again as he tried to leave the train. The culprits were part of a group of young men and women making taunts toward the victim moments earlier.

Officers have unveiled CCTV images of suspects they want to question. The British Transport Police urge anyone who recognises these individuals or witnessed the attack to come forward.
