Emergency services rushed to Broomhill Road in Ilford, East London, late Wednesday night after reports of a stabbing.

Police Launch Investigation, Area Remains Cordoned Off

A police cordon is still in place as officers carry out their investigation. Locals have been warned to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

Victim Hospitalised, No Arrests Yet

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10:50pm on Wednesday, 12 April, following reports of a male stabbed on Broomhill Road in Ilford.”

“Officers found a 17-year-old male injured. He was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. At this early stage, no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”
