Dagenham’s Selinas Lane has been completely shut since the early hours of Monday morning following a suspected shooting involving a man and a woman. Metropolitan Police officers have taped off the area and forensic teams, decked out in blue paper suits, are combing the street for crucial evidence.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 3.41am to reports of a shooting at the junction of Selinas Lane and Coppen Road, Dagenham. Our first paramedics arrived on scene in less than five minutes. Both victims were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.”
