Police were scrambled just before 4am on Monday, 2 May, after reports of a shooting on Hertford Road, Barking. When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Gunshot Victim and Woman Suffer Bullet Grazes
Shortly after, police were informed that a man and woman arrived at an east London hospital. The man, in his 30s, had a gunshot wound to the leg. His injuries are also not life-threatening. The woman had minor grazes consistent with a bullet scratch.
Scene Still Cordoned Off as Investigation Continues
All three injuries appear connected to the incident on Hertford Road, where police maintain a tight cordon. Officers are working hard to piece together what happened in the early hours.
