Gun Fired at Manchester Business in Bizarre Night-time Attack
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are hunting for a tall, slim gunman who fired two shots inside a Manchester business before cycling off dark streets on Kingsway at just before 11pm on Sunday, April 30.
No Injuries but Shock in the Community
The quickfire attack left no one hurt. Officers have sealed off the scene and are piecing together what happened. So far, no arrests have been made.
Police: Targeted Attack, No Danger to Public
Superintendent Paul Walker sought to calm nerves, telling the public: “We believe this was a targeted attack. There is no ongoing risk to the wider community.” To boost safety, GMP have ramped up local patrols and are urging residents to stay vigilant and speak up if worried.
