Masked Thugs Blitz Family Home in Daylight Armed Raid
A terrifying home invasion erupted at 4.45pm on 22 November 2022 in Eastmoor, Ellenbrook. Three masked men forced their way into a family’s house while a woman and her young son were inside.
Violent Raid: Crowdbar-Wielding Intruder Threatens Woman and Son
The female victim was outside letting her dog out when a balaclava-clad man confronted her in the garden. Armed with a crowbar, he threatened both her and her child. Two more men then stormed the house.
The trio ransacked the home, stealing a safe packed with cash, high-value jewellery, and distinctive Thai gold bars. They also snatched an iPhone.
Escape in Stolen Family BMW before Ditching It and Fleeing in Another Car
The crooks loaded their loot into the family’s BMW M Sport and sped off. The luxury motor was later found abandoned on Bridgewater Road. The gang then switched to a white Seat Leon estate to make their getaway.
Police Appeal: Unique Gold Bars May Hold Key to Capture
“This was a frightening incident where three men forced their way into a family home,” said Detective Constable Max Baimak from the Salford Neighbourhood Crime Team. “The gold bars are very distinctive, so anyone who has seen them or been offered them should contact police.”
