Four Arrested in East London Murder Probe
Police have arrested two men, both 18, and two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, on suspicion of murder following warrants executed in east London early Thursday, 25 March. All four remain in custody at a local police station.
Teen Stabbed to Death in Walthamstow
Bubacar Jabbie Dukureh, 17, known to family as Bubacar Jabbie, was fatally stabbed on 23 October 2020 in Walthamstow. Police were called to Westbury Road at 9:20pm after Bubacar was found with a chest stab wound.
Despite paramedics’ best efforts, Bubacar was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
Detectives Vow Justice for Teen
“This was a senseless and violent attack on a teenager on the streets of London,” said Detective Inspector Joanna Yorke of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
“Our team has been working hard to establish the full circumstances around the incident and this is a significant update in the investigation.”
