Man Thrown Into Air After Hit-and-Run on Great Cambridge Road
Chaos erupted in North London last night after a car failed to stop and struck a man at the busy junction of Great Cambridge Road and White Hart Lane.
Witnesses at a nearby kebab shop described the shocking scene, saying the victim was tossed “up in the air like a rag doll.” Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the man before hurrying him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police Launch Manhunt for Hit-and-Run Driver
A Met Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called at 9:12pm on Monday, 13 January following reports of the collision. The victim, believed to be in his 40s, remains in critical condition in an East London hospital.
The driver sped off without stopping. Police have sealed off Great Cambridge Road and the junction with White Hart Lane as investigations and search efforts intensify.
