£20,000 High-Tech Gear Stolen on Redhill Train

British Transport Police are hunting a gang who snatched a pricey architectural scanning device worth £20,000 from a train.

The Theft Unfolded in Minutes

The incident happened around 6pm on 23 February. The victim left their bag with the specialised equipment in the overhead storage on a train at Redhill. Moments later, a group boarded and plonked themselves right underneath the rack. At Earlswood station, they grabbed the bag and stomped off the train.

BTP Seeks Public Help to Crack Case

Police have released images of the suspects and are urging anyone who recognises them to come forward.
