Man Brutally Attacked With Bottle on London Road
Shock as a man in his 40s was smashed over the head with a bottle on London Road late Sunday night.

The assault happened at around 10:45pm on 3 March 2024, close to the junction with Cherry Tree Avenue. The victim was standing outside when two men approached and spoke to him briefly. As he turned away, one of the men hit him hard on the head with a bottle, leaving a large cut.
The injured man was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Police Seek Witnesses
Officers have launched a probe, scouring CCTV footage and carrying out inquiries. They’re now appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has dash cam or private CCTV footage to come forward.
