Woman Dragged to Ground and Robbed Outside Valley Drive Pharmacy
A shocking robbery unfolded at The Parade in Valley Drive on the afternoon of Wednesday, 7 December 2022. At 4.05pm, a woman in her 40s was approached by a man and woman she knew outside a local pharmacy. The man allegedly dragged her to the ground while the woman snatched her bank card.
Victim’s Car Attacked After Heist
The victim managed to escape to a nearby parked car. But the drama didn’t end there. The woman who stole the card reportedly attacked the vehicle, damaging a wing mirror and the windscreen.
Two Arrested, Police Hunt Witnesses
The very next day, police arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, both from gravesend/" title="Gravesend" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Gravesend, on suspicion of robbery. They have been released on bail but are due back at the station.
Detective Sergeant Ben French, North Kent CID, said: “While two people were detained in connection with this incident, we are appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact us.”
“We are also asking drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV to check for footage that may assist our enquiries.”
