Woman Held at Knife-Point for Six Hours in North Bucks
Police are hunting witnesses after a chilling false imprisonment in Warrington, North Buckinghamshire. The terrifying ordeal unfolded around 2pm on Friday (21 June) at the A428 layby near the BP garage in the tiny hamlet just north of Olney.
Victim Threatened with Knife and Claims of Gun
The victim was sitting in the layby when a man dashed out of his black Saab, brandishing a knife. He forced her into the passenger seat and made threats to kill her over six long hours. He also demanded money.
The offender claimed he was armed with a gun. He’s described as a slim black man with long dreadlocks. The car involved is a black Saab with a partial plate reading LG54.
Police Appeal for Dash-Cam Heroics
“This was a frightening incident for the victim, who despite her ordeal, was not injured,” said Detective Constable Susan Russell from the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit at Bletchley.
“We believe the victim and offender know each other, and this was an isolated event with no wider risk to the community.”
