Knife Scare Sparks Police Rush on Edgware Road
Police were scrambled to Edgware Road near Upper Berkeley Street, W1, at 3:13pm on Thursday, November 27 after reports of a man brandishing a knife.
Officers on Scene Within Minutes
Responding swiftly, officers arrived just four minutes later. A 30-year-old man was promptly arrested on suspicion of carrying a bladed article in public and affray.
No Injuries as Suspect Held in Custody
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the tense stand-off. The suspect remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
