Man Arrested in Holland Park Crash Sectioned Under Mental Health Act

Police swooped on Holland Park, W11, at around 9.50am on Saturday, 13 April following reports of anti-social behaviour involving a car. When officers arrived, the suspect was still behind the wheel, having crashed into several parked vehicles near the Ukrainian Embassy.

Armed Police Responded Quickly

Due to London’s strict protective security protocols, armed officers were deployed and reached the scene within minutes, ensuring the situation was contained swiftly.

Suspect Sectioned and Taken to Hospital

The 40-year-old man involved was arrested on the spot. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that he has since been detained under the Mental Health Act and is being taken to hospital for treatment.
