Young Man Hospitalised After Thamesmead Stabbing
A man in his twenties was rushed to hospital following a stabbing on Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead, just before 7:40 pm on January 4th.
Emergency Services Respond Swiftly
Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived quickly after reports of the stabbing. They found the victim with stab wounds and immediately took him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Met Police Launch Investigation
The Metropolitan Police have opened an investigation into the attack and are appealing for witnesses. A spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 7.38 pm on Thursday, 4th January to reports of a stabbing in Titmuss Avenue, SE28. Officers and paramedics attended. A man in his twenties was taken to hospital with a stab wound. His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.”
