Man Airlifted to London Hospital After Brutal Maidstone Street Attack
A man is fighting for his life after a savage attack on Maidstone’s Pudding Lane on Thursday evening. Emergency crews were called at 7.44pm following reports of a disturbance. Moments later, an air ambulance landed in nearby Mote Park to rush the seriously injured man to a London hospital.
Witnesses Speak Out
A female witness, out with her two young children, told police how bystanders, including a man with a dog, tried to intervene during the violent incident. She said the victim was repeatedly kicked while lying on the ground.
Crime Scene and Police Investigation

Officers were seen collecting DNA, blood, and glass fragments near a bus stop. A police officer even accompanied the victim in the ambulance during the critical journey to hospital.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Patrols were called to a disturbance at 7.44pm on Thursday, 10 February 2022, in Pudding Lane, Maidstone. A man was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance. Life-Saving Efforts
Doctors on the air ambulance used advanced life-saving equipment to sedate the victim at the scene before flying him out. The man has been intubated and is currently under intensive medical care.
