A man in his 20s was stabbed following a heated road rage incident on Walm Lane, Willesden, late Tuesday night, April 1.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the victim suffered stab wounds but thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening or life-altering.

Road Rage Turns Nasty

Police were alerted at 9:06 pm after reports of a stabbing inside a local restaurant. The drama unfolded when the victim was driving and was aggressively followed by the suspect in another car.

The tension boiled over after a collision between the two vehicles. Fearing for his safety, the victim dashed into a nearby restaurant — where the attacker trapped and stabbed him.

The injured man later went to hospital on his own, where medics confirmed his wounds were serious but not critical.

Official Police Statement

“Police were called at around 21:06hrs on Tuesday, 1 April, to reports of a stabbing inside a restaurant in Walm Lane, Willesden.

A man in his 20s self-presented at hospital with stab wounds. His condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

It is believed the victim was driving when followed by the suspect’s vehicle. A collision occurred, and the victim ran into the restaurant where he was stabbed.

No arrests have been made so far, but officers are actively pursuing all lines of enquiry.”
