The stabbing occurred at 6:37 PM on Friday, July 26. Emergency services arrived quickly and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his injuries were confirmed as non-life-threatening.
Police Launch Investigation, No Suspects Yet
The Met Police have opened an investigation into the attack, but the circumstances remain unclear. A spokesperson said:
“Police were called to Powis Street, SE18, at 18:37 hrs on Friday, 26 July to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service. A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds. He has been taken to hospital, his condition assessed as non-life-threatening. There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.”
