Man Left Seriously Injured After Brutal Dog Attack in Staffordshire

A man suffered severe injuries after being mauled by two dogs in Stonnall, Staffordshire. The terrifying attack happened just before 3.15pm on Thursday, September 14, outside a property on Main Street.

Heroic Bystanders Step In to Save Victim

Quick-thinking locals sprang into action to help the victim and stop the attack. One dog was restrained outside by the brave community members, while the other was secured inside the owner’s flat. The injured man was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.

School Safety Measures Put in Place

With the attack fresh in mind, authorities acted fast to protect nearby St Peter’s Primary Academy pupils. As a precaution, children were temporarily held inside the school grounds to keep them safe from any further danger.

Man Arrested, Investigation Underway

A 30-year-old man from Lichfield has been arrested on suspicion of having dogs dangerously out of control. Police are currently investigating, including identifying the breeds of the dogs involved.
