Nicholas Scantlebury, 35, was on the run after he ran over and injured a police officer. The Met Police launched a furious appeal to catch him earlier today (Friday, 19 July).

In a twist, Scantlebury handed himself into a South London police station. He was promptly arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).
