Masked Robbers Pull Off Daring £5 Million Heist Under Truck
In a bold daylight raid, masked robbers sneaked under a truck to steal a staggering £5 million from a cash depot in Slough. The smash-and-grab happened early Wednesday at a high-security warehouse where vans are loaded with bank cash for morning deliveries.

The gang threatened employees at the Slough Trading Estate, binding them with cable ties before breaking into several delivery vans. The robbers, dressed in bulky clothes and armed with head torches, used angle grinders to cut through a metal fence, clearing their escape route through a neighbouring yard.

Despite the violence, no one was hurt during the robbery. The robbers fled in two vehicles, disappearing fast. Police have not confirmed if the gang was armed but believe this is the biggest heist since the infamous £53 million Securitas robbery in Tonbridge, Kent, in 2006.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown from Thames Valley Police’s Serious Organised Crime Unit said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this robbery to please come forward.” He added reassuringly, “While I understand that this is concerning, there is no evidence of a larger threat to the public.”
