Two Arrested in Portsmouth Drug Bust

Police have swooped on a Landport address in Portsmouth today, arresting two men over suspected drug supply. The Charles Dickens Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant on Northam Street this morning.

Two Men Held Over Class B Supply

A 50-year-old and a 20-year-old local were taken into custody on suspicion of dealing Class B drugs. Both have now been released but remain under investigation as police probe further.

Inspector Vows to Crack Down on Drug Crime

“Today’s arrests are part of our ongoing fight to tackle drug-related activity in Portsmouth,” said Inspector Ryan. “These drugs cause serious harm to users and fuel anti-social behaviour and crime in our community.”

“We’re committed to disrupting this activity and keeping residents safe. If you spot drug dealing or suspicious behaviour, call 101, or ring 999 if it’s an emergency.”
