Murder Probe Launched After Woman Found Dead in Hampshire Home
A murder investigation is underway after a woman in her 60s was found dead at her home on Mansel Road East, Millbrook, Hampshire.
Two Arrested in Connection With Tragic Death
Police have arrested a 48-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman from Southampton on suspicion of murder. Both remain in custody while detectives continue their inquiries. The victim’s next of kin have been informed.

“We are still in the early stages of our investigation,” said DCI Nicola Burton. “You will see officers conducting extensive inquiries across the west of the city to piece together exactly what happened.”
“We believe this was an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the community.”
Superintendent Phil Lamb added: “This incident will understandably cause concern, especially following last week’s attempted murder in the city centre. We’ve brought in extra officers from across the force to support patrols, assist investigations, and engage with communities.”
