A fatal car crash in Falkirk has taken a dark turn. Police Scotland have launched a murder investigation following the death of 27-year-old Amy Rose Wilson.
Crash Details: High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Tragedy
The tragedy unfolded on New Carron Road last Saturday evening. Amy, from Bo’ness, was driving a silver Vauxhall Vectra involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Tiguan. The collision happened after a high-speed chase involving a black Mercedes C-Class.
Before the crash, there was a confrontation between occupants of the Vauxhall and the Mercedes on Foundry Street. The Mercedes then pursued Amy’s Vauxhall onto New Carron Road, where the fatal crash with the Volkswagen occurred.
Passengers Hurt, Suspects Flee Scene
- A male passenger in the Vauxhall was injured and treated at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
- The Volkswagen driver suffered minor injuries.
- The Mercedes, carrying several people, fled the scene heading north on New Carron Road.
