Man in 40s on E-Bike Hits Nonagenarian on Pavement
A man in his 40s was riding an electric bike along the pavement heading towards St Williams Way and Chatham when he collided with a pedestrian in his 90s. The elderly man suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
PC Marija Medvedeva from Medway CID said: “We have been completing enquiries into the circumstances and are now urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police, and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us.”
