Egg Attack on Police Car Sparks Outrage
While officers handled an incident, their police vehicle came under fire — from flying eggs. The culprits pelted the car but quickly chickened out before being caught.
‘No Yolk’ – Police Condemn Egging Incident
Hampshire response officers had a cheeky take on the messy attack. They said:
“E-Shift have not had an eggcellent shift this evening. In eggceptional circumstances, our car sustained criminal damage which was no yolk. To clarify – we really don’t appreciate our vehicles being egged whilst we’re trying to deal with incidents.”
Warning Issued to Egg Throwers
Police made it clear they won’t tolerate attacks on emergency services. They added:
“Targeting of emergency services is not taken lightly, and offenders will be dealt with robustly.”
