Teen Stabbed Near Maitland Park Road – Young Blades Wielded Like Samurai Swords
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed around 2pm near Maitland Park Road. Police have cordoned off the area as investigations ramp up.
Witness Describes Shocking Scene of Violence
Local witness Daniel Prescot was painting nearby when he heard chaos behind Rowan House. He spotted four boys, aged 13 to 16, involved in the incident.
“We’re in shock,” Daniel told the New Journal. “I saw a boy running around the estate, falling to the ground. He had blood all over his back. It didn’t look good. The blade went right through him. I’ve seen enough injuries to know it wasn’t going to end well.”
“A group of builders gathered, and then the attackers rode off on pushbikes, each carrying a large knife that looked like a miniature samurai sword. They looked way too young – like they should be at school.”
Police Launch Full Investigation – Two Arrests Made
Multiple crime scenes are now active. Officers have recovered two weapons believed linked to the attack. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
