Massive Cannabis Fire Sends Smoke Cloud Across North London

A colossal cloud of cannabis smoke billowed for miles after a huge blaze ripped through a North London business park. The fire broke out in an industrial unit packed full of cannabis plants, leaving nearby businesses shocked.

Over 100 Firefighters Battle Blaze at Park Royal

Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters were scrambled to tackle the inferno on Abbey Road, Park Royal, after the fire erupted early Sunday morning. Smoke from the blaze could be seen for miles, prompting authorities to warn locals to steer clear of the area.

London’s Coronation Road is now fully closed at the Abbey Road junction, with drivers advised to find alternative routes.

Salvation Army Steps In as Firefighters Battle ‘Munchies’

The London Fire Brigade confirmed the operation, saying: “Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are dealing with an industrial blaze on Abbey Road in #ParkRoyal. Smoke can be seen from miles around. Please avoid the area if possible.”

In a bizarre twist, the Salvation Army was called in to support firefighters reportedly suffering from “the munchies” after inhaling the dense cannabis smoke while battling the fire.

Fire Under Control, Investigation Underway

The London Fire Brigade shared:

“Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are dealing with a fire on an industrial estate on Abbey Road in Park Royal. A range of industrial units were damaged by fire. The Brigade was called at 09:19 and the fire was under control by 13:32. Fire crews from Park Royal and surrounding stations attended the scene. The cause is under investigation.”
