Cop Attacked in Sittingbourne – Police Hunt Suspect on the Run
A police officer was assaulted in broad daylight in Sittingbourne on Wednesday morning.
At around 8.25am on 9 June 2021, the officer responded to a disturbance at a private address in the Crown Quay Lane area. While on the scene, a man attacked the officer before fleeing on foot.
Suspect Still at Large
The National Police Air Service has joined the search, scouring the area from the skies. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officer Safe, No Serious Injuries
Thankfully, the officer was not seriously hurt during the assault and continues to serve the community despite the shocking attack.
