Chatham bus stop robbery foiled after thug tries to snatch woman’s jewellery
Attempted jewellery snatch caught on Lords Wood Lane
Police are on the hunt after a man allegedly tried to rob a woman at a bus stop in Chatham. The brazen attack happened just after 10am on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, near the corner of Lords Wood Lane and Scotby Avenue. The suspect reportedly crossed the road and lunged at the woman, aiming to snatch her jewellery. Luckily, she escaped unharmed with no injuries reported.
