Police Hunt Witnesses After Sexual Assault on Portsmouth Street
Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Portsmouth on Friday, 28 June.
At around 11.15pm, a man targeted a woman in her 20s walking alone along Hampshire Terrace. He tried to start a conversation before grabbing her waist and thrusting his crotch against her. The victim managed to push him away and escape safely.

Officers stress this appears to be an isolated incident but urge the public to stay alert when out at night.
