Woman Escapes Gruesome Attack in Hampshire Nature Reserve

Hampshire Police are hunting a vile attacker after a woman was grabbed from behind in a terrifying incident in Andover.

Terrifying Grab at Rooksbury Nature Reserve

On Thursday, 23 November, around 5pm, a 34-year-old woman was walking through the Rooksbury nature reserve near Mill Lake when a man suddenly seized her from behind.

Thankfully, the woman managed to break free but suffered minor injuries in the struggle.

Police Step Up Patrols, Seek Witnesses

Officers are ramping up patrols in the area to reassure local residents. They urgently want anyone who was nearby—or spotted anyone acting suspiciously between 4.50pm and 5.10pm—to come forward.

“If you saw anything, no matter how small, please contact us,” pleaded police.
