Diamond Watch Snatched in Daylight Park Robbery

A 73-year-old woman was targeted in a brazen grab-and-run at a north London park entrance on Tuesday evening.

Watch Snatched Near Seven Sisters Road

The victim was approached between 5.15pm and 5.40pm at the south entrance by Seven Sisters Road, N4. A man suddenly grabbed her arm and demanded her gold-plated, diamond-encrusted JBW watch before fleeing the scene.

Suspect Description and Police Appeal

  • Black male, around 5ft 11in
  • Slim, athletic build
  • Wearing a light-coloured T-shirt

Despite being left shaken, the woman was unharmed. PC Carol 1 from the North Area Basic Command Unit stressed the watch’s sentimental value to the victim.

“The watch was of high sentimental value to the owner. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or spotted the watch for sale to come forward,” she said.
