Late-night attack on Derby Road
Just after midnight on Thursday, March 2, a man in his 60s was targeted by a stranger on Derby Road. The attacker threatened him and demanded his wallet before launching a vicious assault.
Victim suffers head and face injuries
The mugger struck the victim, leaving him with injuries to his head and face. He then snatched the wallet and fled towards Twyford Avenue.
Police hunt man caught on camera
Police have released an image of a man seen in the area at the time. Officers want to speak to him in connection with the violent robbery.
