Police are hunting a man after a woman in her 20s was raped in Lancaster on November 22, 2021.
Serious Sexual Assault Shakes Lancaster
The victim reported a brutal sexual attack at a city address. Officers launched an urgent investigation and uncovered CCTV footage showing a man they want to speak to in connection with the crime.
Man of South Asian Heritage Wanted
Police describe the suspect as a slim man in his mid to late 20s, of South Asian descent. Detectives believe he may currently work or have worked in the Lancaster area.
Police Urge Public to Help
Det Sgt Hana Alayli-Moore of Lancaster CID said: “This is a very serious offence and I believe someone will recognise this man. The victim is being given continued support by officers and we want to trace the man pictured as soon as possible. If you have any information, please call police immediately.”
