Chaos erupted on Huntingdon Street, Nottingham early this morning as police swooped on a violent assault.
Two Men Arrested After Morning Attack
Officers rushed to the scene at around 7.55am on 28 April after reports of a serious assault. The victim was quickly taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
Police Close in on Suspects
Two men were arrested nearby on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, thanks to a swift police response.
No Wider Danger to Public
“We responded very quickly to this incident and arrested two suspects nearby,” said Chief Superintendent Suk Verma, Head of Local Policing for Nottinghamshire Police.
“Members of the public can expect to see a large police presence in the area for the rest of the day but we believe this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.”
