Masked Cyclist Preys on Women in East London – Police Launch Hunt

Between August 30 and September 29, police have been tracking a disturbing spree of sexual offences in the E3 postcode area. A man on a bike has been repeatedly cycling up behind women before exposing himself or carrying out sexual assaults. The predator reportedly masturbated during four of the seven known incidents.

Seven Attacks Spark Police Alert

  • Suspect cycles up behind lone women
  • Wears a mask and distinctive clothing – black zipped hoody, grey joggers with thick black stripe down the leg, a chequered baseball cap, and possibly a bike lock around his neck
  • Rides a black and silver bike

The attacks occurred mostly around East London’s E3 area, spreading from Upper North Street to Burdett Road and Watts Grove, with one incident reported near Commercial Road in E1.

Officers have boosted patrols and are urging any victims who have not yet come forward to contact them. “We want to support victims with specialist officers,” said a police spokesperson.
