New Image Released in Lambeth Acid Attack Hunt

Police have issued a fresh appeal in the hunt for Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, a key suspect in a shocking acid attack in Lambeth, London. Superintendent Gabriel Cameron urged the public for help and warned everyone to stay clear of Ezedi, who is believed to be dangerous.

The released photo shows Ezedi at a Tesco on Caledonian Road, N1, just before 9pm on January 31. Notably, he has severe injuries on the right side of his face, making him easily identifiable. Cameron warned, “If you see Ezedi, call 999 immediately. He should NOT be approached.”

Victims Hospitalised, Heroes Recognised

The acid attack left a 31-year-old woman and her two young daughters, aged eight and three, hospitalised. Their injuries, while not life-threatening, could be life-changing, especially for the woman and her youngest child.

Three brave women who intervened suffered minor burns but have now been discharged. A man in his 50s who also helped declined hospital treatment for lesser injuries. Five police officers injured at the scene were treated and released.

Superintendent Cameron praised their courage: “All these members of the public, and my officers, deserve enormous recognition and praise for coming to the aid of this woman and children in what must have been a terrifying scenario.”

Authorities have set up an incident room and urge anyone with information to call 0207 175 2784. The investigation is ongoing, with police working alongside partner agencies to track down the suspect, who is believed to know the victims.
