Brutal Attack on Coach Driver in Nottingham

Police have released CCTV pics of two men they want to quiz after a National Express coach driver was viciously attacked in Nottingham city centre.

Driver Dragged Off Bus and Assaulted

The driver suffered a broken ankle when two men tried to board without a valid ticket or enough cash. An argument broke out, and the thugs dragged him from the coach before launching the assault.

The shocking attack happened between 4.35am and 4.50am on 12 June 2022, outside Trent 1 on Station Street. The coach was on its way to Birmingham at the time.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“This was an unpleasant incident and we simply will not tolerate attacks like this on hardworking people who are simply doing their job,” said PC Joseph Blake of Nottinghamshire Police.

“We believe the people in these images could have valuable information that could assist our inquiries. It is really important that anyone who recognises them gets in touch with us.”

If you recognise the suspects, call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 138 of 12 June 2022.
