Violent Attack Rocks High Street
Police in Cheltenham are on the lookout for a man linked to a brutal assault and botched robbery on the bustling High Street. The shocking incident happened near Kaspa’s Desserts on Wednesday, September 13, around 5.30pm.
Victim Beaten and Targeted for Phone
Witnesses say two men approached the victim, launched a vicious attack, and hurled abusive insults. The pair slammed the victim’s head, shoved him to the ground, and kicked him. They then tried to snatch his phone before fleeing towards New Street and Waitrose.
One Suspect Locked Up, Police Urge Public Help
The victim was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital for treatment. Police caught one suspect, who’s now been sent back to prison. But the hunt is still on for the second attacker.
