Armed Brawl in Gillingham Sparks Police Hunt
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a violent scuffle involving four armed men rocked Gillingham on the night of Thursday, April 18, 2024. The fracas broke out around 9:30 PM, prompting a swift police response and two arrests so far.
Suspects Described in Distinct Tracksuits and Balaclava
The altercation involved four young men with distinctive clothing:
- One wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a green top
- A second dressed in a black and grey hooded top
- A slim white male, late teens or early 20s, in a black tracksuit and dark trainers
- The fourth, also late teens or early 20s, white, sporting black tracksuit bottoms, a light t-shirt, and a balaclava
Two Arrested, Police Seek More Witnesses
On Friday, April 19, Kent Police nabbed a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man from Gillingham. Both remain in custody as inquiries continue into the incident.
“We urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact us immediately,” said PC Ellen Compton.
