Teenagers Stabbed in SE17 Street Brawl

Police and emergency crews rushed to Cooks Road, SE17, just after 4:30 PM on Friday, 26 July, following reports of a violent fight that left two teenage boys stabbed.

Two Teen Victims Taken to Hospital

Officers from the Metropolitan Police and ambulance teams found two males with stab wounds at the scene. An 18-year-old suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. His condition is now being closely monitored by medics.

The second victim, a 17-year-old, sustained less severe wounds but was also taken to hospital. After treatment, a 59-year-old man was arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Families Informed as Police Launch Investigation

Both families have been notified as the investigation continues. The case is now being handled by CID officers overseeing Southwark and Lambeth.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Authorities want anyone who saw the stabbing and hasn’t yet spoken to police to come forward. Witnesses can call 101, quoting incident number 5430/26jul.
